In 2017, Petersfield theatre group presented their production of All Shook up. A rockin’ and rollin’ upbeat musical. The Green A Team of Petersfield asked Tom to step up to the role of ‘Head of Lighting’ for this production, to represent their charity and do them proud.
All Shook Up is a 2004 American jukebox musical with Elvis Presley music and with a book by Joe DiPietro. The story is based on William Shakespeare’s 1602 play Twelfth Night. ~ Wikipedia
John-Paul McCrohon’s (director) vision for the show was bright, colourful and fast paced. After multiple production meetings with Tom and the rest of the production team we achieved a fantastic show with a high standard all round from all departments.
Because of the type of show, the music involved and the set design, Tom specified a 80% moving light & LED Rig for the show that took place at Petersfield Festival Hall. With a wide range of ‘locations’ for scenes including an abandoned fairground, a ‘Honky Tonk Bar’ and a Mechanics Gas Station, there was room for lots of creativity and effects.
A Massive thank you to Petersfield Theatre group for having me on “board” (Lighting Pun) and for The Green “A” Team for asking me to represent them on this occasion as head of department.

Tom Pearce’s lighting design, implementation, dedication and realisation was astounding and caused many positive comments from various people that would not usually bother to pass opinion.
